Yuma Mayor And City Council Schedule To Bring Back Citizens Forum

Yuma Mayor Douglas Nicholls and the city council have scheduled to bring back the citizens forum. The forum is a half hour slot before council work sessions, where citizens can request time in front of the council for discussion. Nicholls is excited the forum is making a comeback.
Citizens will need to submit their requests at least two weeks ahead of time, and a person will only be allowed to address the council once a quarter. Each half hour slot would be split into two 15 minute segments, so two topics would be discussed at each session. The mayor adds he is always looking for feedback from the public, and believes this will give everyone an equal chance to speak.
