Yuma Area Doctor Has License Suspended By Arizona Medical Board 

An area doctor has had his medical license suspended by the Arizona Medical Board. The Yuma Sun is reporting that Doctor Alaaedin Babiker was suspended from practicing medicine on December 18th 2013. The board concluded that quote – “the public health, safety or welfare imperatively requires emergency action.” – unquote. The investigation began after one of Doctor Babiker’s patients complained about inadequate follow up care they received in January 2013. The claim accused the doctor of prescribing controlled substances to patients so he could redirect some of the medication to himself. Several other patients have come forward claiming inadequate health care from his office
