Two Men Come Forward In Saguaro Park Vandalism

Saguaro-CactusOfficials at Saguaro National Park say two men have come forward and are cooperating with an investigation into vandalism along a Tucson hiking trial.

Authorities say at least one saguaro was knocked over and cut in half and a couple of barrel cacti and a palo verde tree were hacked up along the Douglas Spring Trail in Saguaro National Park East.  The cacti and tree were cut up sometime late Thursday or early Friday.

The park service on Monday released surveillance photos following the latest incident showing the two men.  Their names have not been released.
