The Yuma Civic Center, in partnership with area high school student councils, announces the return of the once-popular teen dance, with a series of three big events scheduled. The Civic Center will host teen dances this spring and summer on March 28th, June 20th and July 18th. Each event will take place from 8pm-to-12midnight and will cost five-dollars. Entry will be restricted to ages 13-to-19, and each person must present a valid student I-D prior to entry. The schools are providing chaperones, school resource officers and decorations. Meanwhile, students took on much of the organization of the March 28th dance, including picking and paying the D-J, Living Energy, based in Phoenix.
