State Historic Park Seeks Volunteers

Quartermaster-Historic-State-ParkThe Quartermasters Depot State Historic Park in Yuma is asking for volunteers.  An informational session is scheduled for February 21st at 1pm the park located on North Fourth Avenue. 

The park is looking for people to assist with general maintenance, conduct guided tours and lead tours for school children.  The informational session will introduce the park volunteer program, explain position openings, and describe how to become a volunteer. 

The ten-acre park includes some of the oldest buildings in Arizona, five of which date back to the period of 1864-to-1883, when the U.S. army supplied all the forts in the Southwest.
