Salvation Army Provides Shopping Spree To Under-Privileged Children

Members of the Salvation Army Youth Club were treated to a special gift to get the school year started off right. For them and their families, it is hard to get school supplies due to the cost of the materials that these families simply cannot afford in thesalvation-army recent tough economic times. 25 children were given $81 gift cards to be used at Target. Captain Randy Hartt with the Salvation Army says the supplies were desperately needed for these 25 children.

About 15 volunteers from the Yuma Salvation Army and the Wellton Police Department chaperoned the kids on their shopping spree.
