Public Meeting To Discuss Water Pipe Replacement Project

waterpipeWork on replacing an aging piece of infrastructure within the City of Yuma is coming soon, and the City invites members of the public to a meeting to find out how it could affect them.

The meeting will be held Tuesday at 6pm in the cafeteria of McGraw School on South Arizona Avenue.  It is open to the public and free to attend.  Residents are invited to come and learn details of the project and discuss any issues or concerns with members of the project team. 

The project calls for the replacement of 694 linear feet of 12-inch water pipeline running under 24th Street from Arizona Avenue east.  New service connections will be installed from Pacific Avenue to the west off of existing 20-inch and 24-inch lines.

The scheduled start date is March 30th.
