Police On The Lookout For Suspect Wanted For Alleged Shooting On Wednesday Evening

The Yuma Police Department now has a suspect description involved in an alleged shooting from Wednesday evening. Police say they arrived at the scene in the 1900 block of 47th Avenue after receiving reports in which the victim said a Hispanic male approached his vehicle as he was sitting at a stop sign. A verbal argument ensued and when the victim drove away, the suspect fired an unknown amount of shots at his vehicle. The victim was not injured and no shots struck his vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s. He is heavily tattooed, about 5'10 to 6’ tall with a medium build.
