The Pentagon has lifted a restriction keeping F-35’s grounded around the country – including at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma.
A crack was discovered in a turbine blade while going through test flights last week at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
There was one test flight in Yuma the day before the Pentagon ordered all F-35’s grounded. MCAS is expected to house four planes in Yuma.
