Motorists May Experience Traffic Delays Travelling Through Port Of San Luis

Motorists travelling through the Port of San Luis may experience traffic delays this week due to some construction.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection port officials have worked with the City of San Luis, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Mexican government to perform removal of an existing canopy, which may cause delays to outbound traffic through the port, while the work is being done. The work is to begin Tuesday and is expected to continue through Thursday. The work will affect outbound traffic, which will be re-routed through the west exit lane. Recreational vehicles or vehicles towing trailers are being urged to avoid any travel through the area during the construction hours, as the work will prevent any potential to maneuver through the port.
