National Survey Shows Strong Support For Limits On Carbon Pollution

There is majority support for moving the country "entirely away from coal" power plants like Arizona's Navajo and Cholla plants, according to a new nationwide survey commissioned by the Sierra Club. Firefighters Respond To Trailer Fire Monday Afternoon

Rural/Metro firefighters responded to an abandoned mobile home on fire in the 2100 block of East 14th Street Monday afternoon. Officials told the Yuma Sun an explosion caused the blaze. Police say a man who shot and killed another man inside a suburban Phoenix Walmart opened fire in self-defense.
