More than a million dollars worth of cocaine is halted from entering the United States through Mexico. A drug-sniffing dog alerted Customs and Border Protection officers to a truck being driven by a U.S. citizen through the Calexico East Port of Entry. Officers found 40 packages of cocaine inside an auxiliary fuel tank in the bed of the truck. The cocaine is worth more than $1.1 million. The driver was transported to the Imperial County Jail to wait arraignment. He is being investigated and processed by Homeland Security Investigation agents.
