Border Patrol Agents Convicted Of Civil Rights Violations

A November 12th sentencing date has been set for two suspended United States Border Patrol agents who were convicted of violating the civil rights of four suspected marijuana smugglers in southern Arizona. Agents Dario Castillo and Ramon Zuniga were convicted by a jury in April. Authorities say the two agents had forced the suspects to eat marijuana, strip to their underwear and flee into a desert instead of arresting them in November 2008.
