Bomb Threat Hoax Backfires

Two persons trying to delay a hearing in Juvenile Court are going to end up having their own hearing after they allegedly phoned in a bomb threat to the Yuma County Juvenile Justice Center. Police say the threat was phoned in Friday morning alledgely by 33 year old Jose Zermeno and his wife, 29 year old Rosalinda Chavez. After the threat, the building was evacuated for about two hours. Yuma Police Department spokesperson Leann Worthen says they acted quickly after they were informed.
 
Both suspects were arrested and placed into custody.  Both are charged with hoaxing and the use of an electronic device in order to threaten.
