Board Of Supervisors Approve Employee Pay Raises

Raise-Pay-IncreaseThe Yuma County Board of Supervisors voted to give raises to employees during their meeting on Monday.  The raises will be based on job performance and length of service.

Employees can see a pay raise increase as large as 5.06 percent, if they have been an employee for five years or longer.

The raises come as the 2014 budget was approved by the board Monday.  Total expenses in the budget are $250 million.
