Yuma Man Wanted For Questioning In Connection To Domestic Violence And Assault

Border Patrol Arrests Drug Smugglers Traveling Through Skull Canyon


United States Border Patrol agents from the Yuma Sector arrested five drug smugglers and seized 304 pounds of marijuana late last week.  The drugs have an estimated street value of $152,000.  Wednesday, agents apprehended three Mexican nationals smuggling marijuana through Skull Canyon, southwest of Gila Bend.  The men were carrying 239-pounds of the drug.  Thursday, agents arrested two more men ... Two Yuma Area Sex Offenders Have New Addresses


Two sex offenders have recently changed residences.  The Yuma Police Department says 32-year-old Antonio Aguilar of Yuma now shows an address of 1426 East 22nd Place.  He is described as a Hispanic Male, standing 5’9” and weighing 195-pounds with brown hair and eyes.  In July, 2000, he was sentenced to 120-days in jail after he entered a plea agreement after forcing ... Arizona Drops In Latest Ranking Of Children’s Well-Being


Arizona has slipped again in the latest Kids Count Data Book rankings of children’s well-being, from 46th in the nation to 47th.   Children’s Action Alliance president, Dana Naimark, is most concerned about Arizona’s percentage of children not enrolled in pre-school, 67-percent, putting the state next to last for the second straight year. Agent To Be Sentenced After Pleading Guilty To Drug Smuggling Charges
