Fugitive Caught In Mexico


The U.S. Marshals Service says a fugitive seeking asylum in Mexico has been returned.  26-year-old Thomas Ruben Velarde – also known as “Poison” and “Serio” – was returned to the United States Sunday, August 11. Burglars Take Of With Valuable Items


The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says they are investigating a residential burglary in the Foothills in which $45,000 worth of items and a Dodge Viper were stolen. Federal Government Denies Declaration Of Yarnell Wildfire A Major Disaster


Arizona Governor Jan Brewer says the federal government has denied Arizona's request for a major disaster declaration for the wildfire in Yarnell.  Nineteen firefighters died battling the blaze near Prescott on June 30th. Man Gets Electrocuted While Trying To Steal Copper


More information has come to light about a man who was electrocuted after touching a 69,000 volt power line. Man Accused Of Assaulting Women In Grocery Stores


Authorities say a man accused of groping women at grocery stores in Tempe and Gilbert is in custody.  Police in the two cities say they worked together to identify and arrest 21 year old Jesse Jimenez at his Tempe residence on Thursday.
