Arizona Legislature Wants To Block Use Of Congressional District Maps

The Republican-controlled Arizona Legislature wants a federal court to immediately block use of congressional district maps created by the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission. Yuma Citrus Company Sold To California Group

A Yuma County citrus company has been sold to a California group.  The Yuma Sun reports that Associated Citrus Packers was recently sold to Limoneira Company, a 120-year-old international agribusiness headquartered in Santa Paula, California.  Limoneira acquired  Associated Citrus Packers for around $18.6 million.  ACP owned about 1300 acres of property in the Yuma area, comprised of approximately 950 acres ... Bee Attacks Leave One Horse Dead

Authorities say one horse is dead and one Arizona woman is recovering following a bee attack.   The Cochise County Sheriff's Office says the bees attacked the horse in Willcox on Sunday then turned their wrath on the woman when she tried to save the animal.
