Arizona’s Unemployment Rate Rises

Less Arizona Home Owners Forced To Foreclose

The number of Arizona homeowners losing their home to repossession or who are in some stage of the foreclosure process keeps on dropping.   New data released by foreclosure tracking form RealtyTrac shows nearly 4,000 homes were either taken by lenders or received notices of foreclosure last month. Yuma Named One Of The Most Secure Border Sectors In Nation

Fugitive Convicted Of Sexual Assault Arrested At Nogales Port Of Entry

A Jordanian national was arrested at the Nogales Port of Entry on Tuesday.  Officials say Al Momani was wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service in Illinois for sexual assault from an incident in 2009.   Momani fled the area and was found guilty and given a $1-million bond in Illinois.  In early 2011, officials say they found his location in Mexico.  ... Search Warrant Leads To Arrest Of Two On Drug Related Charges

Costumed Participants Prepare To Make The Plunge For Charity

Construction On I-8 Narrows Traffic Down To One Lane

Interstate-Eight in California between El Centro and Winterhaven is down to one lane through this week.  Cal-Trans says the construction work affects both eastbound and westbound lanes.  Construction crews will be paving the roadway Monday through Saturday from 7am to 6pm.  Construction is to be completed by next week.
