Mesa has announced the sale of about 11,000 acres of land it owns in Pinal County. Yuma Fire Responds To Fire On Christmas Eve


On Christmas Eve, Yuma Fire Department personnel responded to 48 emergency calls for service. Two of those were residential fires. Yuma Man Dies In Skydiving Accident


A Yuma man who died in a Southern California skydiving accident has been identified as a trainer of military skydivers from Arizona. The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner's office identified the victim of Friday's accident in Perris, California as 29 year old Jason Granger of Yuma. The Arizona Western College Matadors toppled the Saddleback Gauchos Friday afternoon 66-37 on the campus of MiroCosta College in the opening game of the 2013 Holiday Festival Tournament.
