Armed Robbery Suspect At Large

handcuffsTwo persons are behind bars and a third is being sought in connection with an Armed Robbery at an area gas station.  The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office says the robbery occurred at the Chevron Station located at 2003 West Eighth Street on Thursday (20) morning.  A male walked into the store and demanded money, threatening to harm the store clerk.  He also told the clerk he has two others waiting outside to assist him if the clerk did not cooperate.  He left with an undisclosed amount of money.  A short time later, deputies observed the suspect at another Circle K located at 3640 West Eighth Street.  The suspect was taken into custody without incident and a second suspect and vehicle were located in the area by deputies. 22-year-old Dennis Jasper Valenzuela and 25-year-old Joshua Edward Amador are charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Robbery and unrelated misdemeanor warrants. A third suspect is being sought.
