Arizona Police On Alert After Former L.A. Police Officer Goes On Shooting Rampage

Arizona authorities say they have been alerted about the manhunt for a disgruntled former Los Angeles police officer wanted in a deadly shooting rampage. 

Thousands of police officers throughout Southern California and neighboring states are searching for 33-year-old Christopher Dorner.  The hunt reportedly has spread to Arizona, Nevada and Mexico. 

Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say an "attempt to locate" advisory went out to officers in the central and northern Arizona.
