Arizona Food Banks Working Hard This Month To Ensure Less Fortunate Families Have Meals During The Holidays

One in five Arizona families lives in poverty and struggles to put food on the table. It is a situation that becomes all the more difficult during the holidays, but Arizona's food banks are working hard this month to ensure that thousands of families are able to enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Jerry Brown of the Saint Mary's Food Bank Alliance says the most-needed items right now are staples like peanut butter and cereal.
Brown says there are donation bins at Goodwill stores across the state to benefit food banks in every part of Arizona.
