Atlantic recording artist Jason Mraz will bring his upcoming tour to Phoenix to perform at Dodge Theatre on Sunday, November 16. Special guests Lisa Hannigan will open the 7:30pm. Tickets will go on-sale Saturday, August 9 at 10am.
The tour sees Mraz supporting his new album, WE SING. WE DANCE. WE STEAL THINGS, which debuted at #3 on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart upon its May release. The album features the RIAA gold-certified single, “I’m Yours,” which topped the airplay charts at Triple A radio outlets nationwide, and has now bulleted into the top 15 at Hot AC, while climbing the pop listings.
The video for “I’m Yours” is currently in “Large” rotation at VH1. The song, which began as an online phenomenon, can now be found in thousands of user-generated videos from more than 25 countries, with more than 20 million views on YouTube.
In October, Mraz will release his first book, entitled a thousand things. The collection, an eco-friendly coffee table book of Polaroid images, includes a foreword by the legendary Graham Nash. The book offers 54 original photographs, including several self-portraits, all taken with Mraz’s poetic and sardonic eye.
